Seminar with Tabata Sensei, Chief Instructor of the Northwest Ki Federation
The Vancouver Ki Society is proud to host a weekend with Calvin Y Tabata Sensei, Chief Instructor of the Northwest Ki Federation. Tabata Sensei is an 8th degree black belt in Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido, and is the Chief Instructor of the Personal Kiatsu® School. He is a lifelong direct student of Ki Society founder Koichi Tohei Sensei and has been teaching in the Pacific Northwest for over 50 years.
This seminar is a fantastic opportunity for new and experienced students – offering deep foundations in Ki-Aikido (meditation and movement), Ki Development (meditation in daily life) and personal Kiatsu (improving your health) over a single weekend.
Important tools covered include:
- Natural posture – improve movement and become more positive
- Meditation & Breathing – learn how to increase energy, develop a calm mind & reduce stress
- Personal Kiatsu – learn how to apply meditation to improve your health
- Ki Aikido – learn how to manage stress, conflict and adversity

9 AM to 4 PM Meditation in Daily Life and Kiatsu (open to everyone, including new students) - Register
CostsMembers: $45 for 1 day, $75 for all days
Non-members (guests): $60 for 1 day, $90 for all days
